Hey guys let’s play how long did it take me to write something I said I would forever ago! I finally finished up a thing I mentioned I’d write about…late last year based off this post right here. It was around the time I first started mentioning Wild to people, I think…anyway, here it is!
I still have to finish that Caitlyn/Jayce fic for my sister.
Sometimes I stare at the computer screen when the words don’t want to come and I think, “Fuck, who am I kidding? This is terrible writing, and this story is shit, and no one cares, anyway.” And I close the window and go do something else.
But every now and then I get an amazing, heartfelt, beautiful comment from someone who loved something I wrote, and it reminds me that, at least for that one person, I did write something worthwhile. And so I open the window again and I write one sentence, and then another, and then I start to find my way again.
So on behalf of all fanfic writers everywhere, I want to say thank you, thank you so much, to all of the readers who take the time to leave a comment and tell us that something we wrote mattered to you, that it brightened your day or made you laugh or cry or get horny or whatever.
Please don’t think we’re ever bothered by your comment, or that we don’t want to hear it, or that what you have to say isn’t important enough. It means so, so much. And on some days, it’s what keeps us going.
Where Emma speaks for me more eloquently than I could for myself. Thank you.

Alrighty! Seeing as what I’ve posted so far has been really quick written things, I thought I might as well post a bit of something I’ve been working on since February of this year…though with little progress since starting I should say.
But to the fic, I’ve been wanting to write Thresh since he was released, yet never could figure out how until I thought of adding him to one of my really old AUs. He fits perfectly! On top of this, I thought it was about time this AU touched on the subject of why it is Ezreal isn’t quite as cruel as he could be (and originally was going to be) to Vladimir. Short answer is he tried it once and it didn’t work out so well in the long run. The long version…I think it’ll be integrated into this fic rather than rambling it off.
But enough of that, on with the story so far!
Got a quick update before I have to run for awhile! :D Hopefully it’s alright, it’s been awhile since I last worked on this.

So I was toying with the idea of making one of those choose your path stories awhile back then sort of fell out of that then decided to at least finish one path just to test if Tumblr would work for posting it (and if interest is there for one).
There would of course be a ton of paths to choose, possibly more than just one character to be (the default is Ezreal of course because he is best set for some weird exploration), and a bunch of different characters to run into. It’d of course take me forever to write something like that, even if most sections would be short, but hey it could be a little something to work on on the side. (:
Anyhow, to the point, I finished one straightforward path just as a test to see if it could work the way I need it to, so here you are!
If there are any errors/if you like the idea, let me know! This is very much a work in progress idea I just sort of went back on after struggling with finishing up a different fic.
I’m probably going to lose followers for saying this, but I honestly don’t care, because if we don’t agree on this point then you’re probably in the wrong place to begin with.
Fandom artists and writers don’t owe you a damned thing. We create fanworks because we want to. We’re under no obligation, we get no compensation for the amount of time and energy we sink into projects, and the fandom is fucking harsh, sometimes. We’re never going to please everyone—we get ridiculed and criticized for the most asinine details.
You didn’t write my favorite pairing the way I like it. That’s not how I imagine those characters. Why don’t you draw more like this person? Delete your blog. Kill yourself.

Fandom is a participatory effort, and if you aren’t contributing in a positive, constructive way to the frenzy, then sit down and shut the fuck up. So you didn’t like so and so story? Great. Go read something else instead of leaving hateful comments. You weren’t impressed with the new fanart on your dash? Awesome. Go grab a pencil or a tablet, your medium of choice, and bring something else to the table.
I’m sick of watching good artists, writers, and graphics makers leave this fandom and question their talent because the fandom can and does behave like a spoiled child.
TL;DR: What do you as a fan gain from being an asshole?

Sorry all, I completely forgot to reblog this for those who follow me but might not follow this askblog! I think the art (and possibly the little story I wrote based on it) might be relevant to those who follow my works.
As for the lack of updates I’m sorry about that as well, I will get to writing once again when I feel better. I just had a little surgery a few days ago, nothing serious, but I certainly won’t feel up to writing for awhile. :( On top of this are many personal matters that must be tended to but with any luck I’ll be back to writing someday soon.
I wish you all the best and hopefully my next post will be something for you all to read! :D
